Understanding Savoya's Notification Suite
At the heart of Savoya's offering is a flexible, powerful notification suite that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any organization. We understand the stress of managing travel and chauffeur service on top of everything you are juggling, which is why all our tools and processes were built to save you time and energy. Each of Savoya's notifications comes from our protected system.
To get the best out of Savoya's notifications, you should first understand the use case for each.
Understanding Each Notification
· Confirmation Email: Immediately upon booking a reservation via phone, email, or online portal, our system will begin to offer the trip out to our network. Once a chauffeur has confirmed the trip, we will email you a confirmation email that includes the estimated cost, reservation number, and trip itinerary.
· Chauffeur Details: We provide advanced chauffeur details between 2 and 24 hours of the trip. Once a chauffeur has been assigned, you will receive a link containing the chauffeur's name, phone number, photo, and the assigned vehicle's make and model and license plate number.
· Enroute: Receive an update once your chauffeur is en route to the pick-up location with a link to a map that includes an accurate estimated arrival time.
· Onsite: Once the chauffeur has arrived onsite, you will receive a notification with detailed staging notes so the passenger knows exactly where to meet the chauffeur. Staging notes can be anything from a baggage claim number to a specific hotel entrance. This notification will also include a reminder of the chauffeur's name and number so that the passenger can contact the chauffeur directly if needed.
· Onboard: This notification alerts you once the passenger is safely on board the vehicle and heading to their next destination.
· Passenger Dropped: Once the passenger has been safely dropped off at their final destination, you will receive a notification confirming that the trip has been completed successfully.
· Receipt: Once the trip has been closed out, you will receive the itemized receipt.
How to Edit Notifications or Add Recipients
One of the most-loved features of our notifications is the ability to add as many stakeholders and team members as needed to each profile, reservation, or group. There is no limit on the number of stakeholders that can be added, and you can set this up on your profile, your passenger's profile, the group level, or an individual reservation basis based on your preference.
On your profile
1. Once logged in, click the menu icon at the top right of your portal
2. Click on "My Account"
3. Scroll down to "My Notifications"
4. Check text messages and/or emails for all notifications that you, as the primary booker, want to receive
5. To add another individual to notifications on all reservations you book (such as a security or flight team), click "Add Another Recipient" and enter their information and which notifications you would like them to receive via text message and/or email.
On your passenger's profile:
1. Once logged in, click the menu icon at the top right of your portal
2. Click on "Passenger Profiles"
3. Search for already saved passenger profiles or create a new profile

5. If the passenger has additional stakeholders who should receive notifications for their trips (such as a spouse), click "Add Another Recipient" and add their information here.
On an individual reservation:
1. Once logged in, click the "New Reservation" button at the top right of your portal.
2. Proceed to book the reservation as usual with passenger information and itinerary details.
3. In the notifications section, you will notice that all your saved preferences and those of your passenger will automatically be applied to this reservation.
4. To add another stakeholder to receive notifications for this specific reservation, click "Add Another Recipient" and add their information here.
On an existing group:
1. Navigate to the group on the +Groups page that you want to modify
2. Click the "Notifications" button within the group
3. Adjust your notifications as the Group Owner on this page or click "Add Notification Recipient" to add additional team members to receive trip updates on reservations booked within the group.
Best Practices for Notifications
Passenger Notifications
Every passenger has different preferences regarding business travel and chauffeur service. We suggest that passengers receive at least two notifications during their travels:
1. Chauffeur Details: By signing the passenger up for chauffeur details, the passenger will receive a link that contains the chauffeur's name, phone number, photo, and the make, model, and license plate number of the assigned vehicle for their trip.
2. Driver onsite: By signing the passenger up for the driver onsite notification, the passenger will receive a text message or email once the chauffeur has arrived at the pick-up location. This notification will also include detailed staging notes so passengers know where to meet their chauffeur.
Sending these communications directly to the passenger removes the middleman, saving you time and reducing the risk of delays when relaying important information.
Full Team Visibility
Including team members like flight crews, security personnel, executive assistants, and event planners in notifications saves time and streamlines the travel planning process. Real-time updates ensure every stakeholder has the latest information and can respond quickly to changes, creating a more agile and coordinated travel experience.
