Setting a Location

Effortlessly manage pickup and drop-off locations with Savoya's intuitive client portal. Whether coordinating commercial flights, private aviation, or specific addresses, our platform ensures precision and simplicity at every step.

1. Commercial Air

For commercial flight bookings, provide the following details:

  • Airport: Enter the airport code (JFK) or full name (John F. Kennedy International Airport).
  • Airline: Input the airline code (AA) or full name (American Airlines).
  • Flight Number: Specify the exact flight number.
  • Date of Flight: Select the flight's departure or arrival date.

Our system actively tracks all commercial flights, automatically updating for delays and cancellations. If any information is pending, select the “TBD Flight Info” option. We'll send a reminder to complete the details closer to the travel date.

2. Private Air

For private flight arrangements, please provide:

  • Arrival/Departure Airport: Enter the airport code (TEB) or full name (Teterboro Airport).
  • Origin Airport: (For arrivals) Specify the departure airport.
  • Tail Number: Input the aircraft's tail number. If not known, select “Tail Number TBD”, this can be updated later once the tail number has been received.
  • Flight Time: Indicate the scheduled arrival or departure time.

Our platform monitors unblocked private flights for delays and diversions once they depart the origin airport. After selecting the airport, choose the appropriate Fixed Base Operator (FBO) from the provided list. If your FBO isn't listed, please contact our support team for assistance.

For arrivals, drivers are scheduled to arrive 30 minutes prior to the expected flight time, ensuring timely pickups and accommodating early arrivals. While we recommend maintaining this default, you can adjust the pickup time by selecting “Edit Pickup Time” and modifying the “Local Pickup Time” field.

3. Address

To set a location by address:

  1. Search for Location: Begin typing the desired address or location name.
  2. Select from Dropdown: Choose the correct address from the suggestions.
  3. Add Location Notes: Provide any specific instructions or details to assist the chauffeur.
  4. Save Location: Optionally, save this address to a passenger's profile for future bookings.

By saving frequently used locations, you streamline future reservations, ensuring consistency and reducing entry time.

4. As Directed/Hourly Trip

If a stop or destination address is not yet known of the traveler will be directing the chauffeur to locations throughout the day, select the “As Directed” option from the stop/pickup. Select the city that the service will occur in, i.e. (“New York City”) and the estimated duration of the vehicle's usage. The estimated duration is important for us to provide an accurate quote and to secure the chauffeur’s schedule for the appropriate amount of time.

5. Stops

To provide a stop location, select “Add Stop” after the pickup information has been entered. Enter the stop location type (Commerical, Private, Address or As Directed), location information, and the estimated duration at the stop. Providing the estimated duration is important for us to provide an accurate quote and secure the driver’s schedule for the appropriate amount of time.

6. Notes

If you have special instructions for a location that you want the driver to be aware of, press the “Add Note” button to be provided with a place to store the location note. You can use this to specify a certain entrance or door number for the driver to stage at, or provide entrance instructions such as a gate code. Do not provide any sensitive information in this box such as phone numbers or credit card information.

7. Saving Locations

If you would like to save a frequently traveled location, for easy access on your next trip, select “Save Location for future use.” You will be presented with a box to confirm the location name, address, and any notes that you would like to store when referenced on a later trip, along with the profile that you would like to save the location to (Booker or Passenger).

To select a Saved Location as an address, type the location name (i.e. “Savoya HQ”) into the “Search for Location” field and select the desired location from the drop down.
